PLAYING RULES:
* Official ASA rules and regulations will apply along with local rules including balls and strikes.
* Roster changes may be made up until a team’s first game is played.
* First two games will determine tournament bracket, (i.e. Division I – 2 – 0 teams, Division II -
1-1 teams, and Division III – 0-2 teams)
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
* Each team is guaranteed four games
* Double elimination tournament within each division.
* Tournament Director reserves the right to change tournament format, i.e., drop the loser’s bracket due to rain, etc.
* Requests are not guaranteed
* ASA, F.S.I. Directors or the City of Fond du Lac will not be held liable for any injuries sustained while participating in this tournament.
* ABSOLUTELY NO CARRY-INS
* Entry into this tournament constitutes an agreement to the above conditions.

The parking on the Island is reserved for groups using the shelters and tickets will be given.
No Batting Practice is Allowed on Baseball Island
All bats that are banned by ASA will not be allowed to be used in any F.S.I. sponsored
tournaments.

Rules for Women’s 4 game
MANAGERS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
* A $20.00 CASH protest fee must be with any protest – you lose your money if you lose the protest.
* There is a five-minute grace period before the game is declared a forfeit.
* 3 Balls – 2 Strikes of any kind – foul ball on a second strike is a live ball – strikeout.
* We use a mix of A.S.A. rules and local rules
* A ten run rule after 5 innings and 20 runs after 4 innings, will be in effect.
* Runners may leave the base after the ball crosses the plate even if not swung at or hit.
* Teams must have at least 9 players. Teams can use an extra player (EP), please inform the umpire
* if you do use an EP. Teams can bat a maximum of eleven players. If you have an injury with no substitute, that person’s place in the batting order will result in an out.
* Each team will keep their own book – it is recommended that you exchange lineups. The umpire willcompare scores. There will not always be an official scorekeeper.
* F.S.I. will supply all game balls.
* No batter’s boxes, so no one will be called for being out of the batter’s box. Exception – When any part of a foot is touching home plate when ball makes contact with the bat.
* The Re-Entry Rule will be used.
a.) Any player, may be substituted or replaced and re-entered once, providing players occupy the same batting positions whenever in the line-up.
b.) The starting player and their substitute may not be in the line-up at the same time.
c.) If a player re-enters the game a second time or a player re-enters the game in a position in the batting order other than their original starting or substitute position, this is considered an illegal re-entry and the illegal player shall be disqualified.
* Please inform the other team of any lineup changes / substitutions.
* The plate and the mat is a strike.
* No courtesy runners
* The arc rule is six feet from the ground and a maximum of ten feet from the ground. The umpire will
call too high or “flat pitch” while in the air.
No Carry-ins will be allowed!!!!
Proceeds from the concession stand helps maintain and enhance the ball diamonds.
